Applied Behavior Analysis:

A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provides a strong foundation, covering behavioral psychology principles and teaching the necessary skills to make data-based decisions to treat and effect significant change in patients’ lives. Students pursuing the MS ABA will receive exposure to a diverse variety of specialties and applications, preparing them for BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) Certification. An optional thesis project is available for students who wish to conduct research or continue to complete a doctorate degree.

Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy:

An M.A. in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy will prepare students with the knowledge and skills to work with individuals, couples, families, and children with varying conditions and disorders. This program will provide students with a strong foundational knowledge of scientific principles and the ability to apply them to specific clinical situations. With a focus on inter-personal relationships, the MFT occupation is projected to grow 16% from 2020-2030 (much faster than average), according to the BLS.

An M.A. in Forensic Psychology prepares students for a wide variety of employment opportunities, from counseling to corrections to law enforcement, military, social services, and more. Students will gain hands-on experience conducting mental health interventions and performing forensic research. Depending on the track pursued, students may receive training in risk assessment, trial consultation, substance abuse treatment, crisis intervention, and mental health law. The Professional Counselor Licensure Track will adequately prepare students to sit for the National Counselor Examination for Licensure and Certification (NCE) as well as state licensure.

Industrial and Organizational Psychology:

An M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology will provide students with a strong foundation to consult with companies and organizations on assessment, engagement, productivity, and retention of employees. Students will receive instruction on training, leadership, organizational culture, and more. Students can select the Internship track to complete the program through two 300-hour internships at an approved site or the student’s current workplace or the Thesis track to complete a thesis in lieu of an internship. Once students have completed their degree, they will be adequately prepared to enter the workforce as masters of Industrial Organizational Psychology, one of the fastest growing vocational fields in the US, according to the BLS.
